We, founder’s of this Trust have decided to establish a foundation to commemorate the spiritual thoughts as well as the revolutionary actions of late Saint Nandanar. SreeNandanar was one of the Sixty Three Nayanars (saints) who had devoted themselves to the service of Lord Shiva and His Creations.

Sree Bhaktha Nandanar Shiva Temple

This Temple was founded by (late) Shri.K S Janardhanan Chuzhakunnel and his few friends on November 25th 1990. Sree Bhaktha Nandanar Shiva Temple is situated on top of Perumamala Hill, Illimattom, SouthPampady, Kottayam ,Kerala. During the past glorious 29 years this temple has been a source of spiritual learnings for the underprivileged, common man of this locality. This Temple has been aptly named after the Dalit Saint Sree Bhaktha Nandanar.

Construction of  new Sree Bhaktha Nandanar Shiva Temple. The existing Temple is 29 years old , it is in very damaged shape and about to collapse any time. More over, devotees have to walk about a kilometre through a steep and narrow road to reach the Temple. Most of the devotees especially aged  find it difficult to reach the Temple. In order to protect the tradition and devotion of our common people SreeBhakthaNandanar Charitable Trust had bought a new plot for the Temple near the Bus Stop in South Pampady.
